Who is eligible to play for the Miracle League of Lake County?
Any special needs athlete age 5 and older.
Do I have to be a Lake County resident to join?
No. Residents from all counties are welcome!
Is there a video of a game so I can see how the games work?
Sure! Just visit our Watch a Game page and take your pick.
How do I register my athlete?
Visit our Athletes page to learn more. For your convenience, you can register online or download the form and mail it to us as instructed.
When can I register my athlete?
Registration for the 2019 season opens on January 31st. The deadline for signing up is May 1st. These dates also apply to volunteers and buddies.
Is equipment provided?
Yes. While you are welcome to bring your own glove and bat, we will provide those items for anyone who may need them.
How can I volunteer or become a buddy?
Can I volunteer with a friend?
Sure! Just enter your friend’s name on the Volunteer Application form and we will accommodate your request.
When does the 2019 season begin?
The summer session has 8 weeks of play from June 1st through July 27th. The fall session has 6 weeks of play and runs from August 17th through September 28th. Check out our Schedule for more details.
When are the games held?
Games are held on Saturdays between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:00 pm. Visit our Schedule page to learn more.
Where are the games held?
Is there parking on site?
Yes. Ample parking is available just steps from the complex. Our lot includes 26 handicap spaces.
Are there restrooms on site?
Absolutely! Our facility has four full-service restrooms, all of which are handicap accessible.
Is there an admission fee to the games?
Can I bring my own food and beverages to the games?
Yes, but we prohibit glass containers on the complex.
Can I bring my dog to the games?
Not all athletes handle dog interactions very well. While dogs are not exclusively prohibited, we require that dogs be supervised and on a leash at all times, if you choose to bring one to a game.
